ABSTRACT
Biostimulants have widely been tested in fruit crops, but there have been lesser tested in young blueberry
orchards. The aim of this study was to evaluate the effect of two foliar biostimulants on the time-course of
shoot growth and chlorophyll index in two young field-grown blueberry cultivars. Natural®WSP and
Aminoterra® were applied individually and in combination on one-year-old Blue Ribbon and Cargo
cultivars in the field and contrasted with a non-applied control. Measurements gave account for the time
course of studied variables. In the second flux of Blue Ribbon shoot growth, applications with
Natural®WSP and Natural®WSP x Aminoterra® showed to be effective for increasing the relative growth
rate (RGR). The RGR in Cargo did not vary by effect of treatment. Similarly to what occurred for RGR,
chlorophyll index in Blue Ribbon increased in response of treatments, late in the season. The chlorophyll
index in cv. Cargo was unaffected by treatment. The effect of treatment seemed differently affect the
tested blueberry cultivars with Blue Ribbon showing changes in the measured variables late in the season.
Variable others than measured here must be evaluated to reach stronger evidence about the effect of
biostimulants used in this study on young blueberry cultivars.

Los bioestimulantes han sido ampliamente probados en cultivos frutales, pero han sido menos probados en
huertos de arándanos en formación. El objetivo de este estudio fue evaluar el efecto de dos
bioestimulantes foliares sobre el curso temporal del crecimiento de los brotes y el índice de clorofila en
