Collectively, the results derived from the analysis of lahar flood hazard and exposure

determination make significant contributions to formulating strategies for territorial planning

and preparedness for volcanic emergency situations in the Malalcahuello area and its vicinity.

These results gain particular relevance in light of the rapid tourist growth that this territory is

experiencing.
